Operation Overgrowth

Situation

Having discovered CSAT and Chinese equipment at Fort Katkoula and the presence of a submarine has done much to garner support for military intervention on Tanoa among many nations. Additional ANZAC ships and a support fleet from Japan have pledged their assistance. China continues to deny involvement in any military actions that haven't been purely defensive in nature and is only acting in the best interests of it's people. CSAT has been more brazen in their posturing in other hotspots outside of the Pacific as well lately, opening up old conflicts in Afghanistan and pushing along the southern Pakistan border. India has reported an increased amount of activity along it's border with China as well.

It seems in response to the strike on Fort Katkoula, CSAT has managed to start putting up AA defense systems in key locations, and China has been positioning their fleet closer to the islands creating too much risk for effective air cover for the time being. Tanoan Recon has shown a lot of activity in the area of Oumere and confirmed with US intel as well. USPACOM has plans for an offensive on Oumere to eliminate their AA, RADAR and Jamming equipment in the area, and hope to secure the port town and prevent it from being a landing point for CSAT/China forces.

Objectives

Tanoan National Forces on standy in Vagalala will be moving in to Oumere to eliminate OPFOR assets ahead of a joint operations assault to secure the city. Units from the Tanoan Motorized and Recon divisions will move south from Vagalala to Objective X-Ray and then proceed to eliminate marked targets with support from Theseus and USMC Scout Snipers positioned in the area.

Primary Objective 01

Our first objective will be to move ahead of the Tanoan Forces to secure the vantage points and scout Objective X-Ray. Once secure, we will radio command and Tanoan Forces will move along the designated route unless otherwise stated.

Primary Objective 02

Once Tanoan Forces are moving, we will need to scout Oumere for targets of opportunity to direct to the Tanoan Units. We will be supplied with 2 drones to assist with this.

Primary Objective 03

When Tanoan Forces make contact, we will be on call for assistance, medical aid and additional recon tasks as required. When the main equipment has been destroyed, Tanoan Forces will drawback to X-RAY while USPACOM directs the main assault force into motion into Oumere. We will hold this position until relieved.

Additional Information: There is a heavily fortified roadblock setup in Luganville, it maybe best to avoid it.
