Situation

A noticeable amount of missing funds and resources have been discovered through a recent audit of Theseus for late 2023 and early 2024. Most concerningly, the missing resources in question include a large amount of our own weaponry and other individual equipment only available to us in-house via Teseus Services and through our exclusive sponsor GT Armory. Coincidentally, a rogue company of AAF soldiers have been seen harrassing Altian citizens in the region including the towns of Rodopoli, Paros, and Kalochori, with reports stating they were wearing Theseus-branded gear and wielding more advanced imported weaponry normally offered by our sponsors, as well as CSAT.

Drone flyovers by the Altian Government show that these rogue forces are operating out of or nearby an area formerly used for a concert that was host to a large, violent altercation between AAF forces and undercover Theseus contractors. Tensions between us and our sponsors, as well as mounting pressure from the Altian Government, are forcing us to move in quickly and resolve the issue to maintain our distinguished reputation on the world stage.

FRIENDLY FORCES
  • Theseus, Inc.
ENEMY FORCES
  • Splinter AAF Forces
  • Unknown Third Party

Objectives

To show good faith to the Altian Government and our sponsors, we've been explicitly tasked to destroy any stolen Theseus, GT, or CSAT gear that we can find, as well as apprehend as many AAF Splinter soldiers as we can, so they can face trial. Additionally, there are reports of a benefactor (or possible group of benefactors) that may be supporting or corrupting these forces to act in this manner. Something about this entire scenario seems familiar.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
  • Locate and destroy all Theseus, GT Armory, and CSAT assets in the possession of the AAF Splinter Forces.
  • Apprehend 2 AAF Splinter soldiers and return them to the Staging Area.
  • Discover the leader of this group, apprehend them, and return them to the Staging Area.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
  • Apprehend 5 or more AAF Splinter soldiers and return them to the Staging Area.
  • Determine the identity of any possible third party forces.

  • Local intel reports state supposed benefactor behind turning this splinter force of AAF are rumored to be rather eccentric, so they should be easy to spot. They must be brought in alive.
  • Not all pieces of stolen Theseus and GT Armory gear that may be worn or used by individual enemies need to be destroyed, just larger assets or supply crates.
After action report:

Theseus was contracted to move in to Altis and subdue a Leader of a rogue AAF unit that had acquired GT Armory and Theseus assets and destroy them upon locating.

Within first contact, both Ares teams and Actual were each engaged by heavily accurate fire from small arms as well as a mounted 6.5 minigun. Suffering a couple losses within minutes, Actual called a retreat where we regrouped and reassessed for a new approach.

The second approach was met with equal firepower. However, Ares 2 made a bull-rush towards the Objective compound and was able to breach into the perimeter and locate the rogue leader but with casualties. Ares 1 and Actual having been pinned by flanking fire on each of their positions were able to overcome and push into the Objective following Ares 2's approach.

Theseus failed to blow up all the stolen assets and but were able to capture the leader as well as one rogue soldier of the AAF. Unfortunately, this was not enough in the eyes of our Employer to call mission complete.
