Jungle Nightmare
Charles I. Andersen Corporation
Situation
Now that we've established a gun running route, we're set to hand it off to local 'entrepreneurs' who can get there more discreetly. However, the attempted ambushes we encountered on Mutsamudu island apparently are part of a larger force that has set up shop in an old government base. They are able to quickly reinforce depleted forces and set up unpredictable ambushes on shipping routes with a cache of weapons they have onsite.
This base gives the PPF a stranglehold on all water routes to points inland and obviously stymies the plans of local 'entrepreneurs'. We suspect that this is also where they obtained their cache of heavy weaponry. This gives the PPF a stranglehold on all water routes to points inland. Our employers want that base gone.

Objectives
We are to destroy the PPF militia base on Mutsamudu island. The most essential target is the arms cache, located in a munitions bunker onsite. Operations and barracks buildings are secondary targets to deny the area to enemy after we leave.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES
- Destroy intact buildings on Mutsamudu Island to prevent it from being used as a base.

The old army installation is on the Eastern part of Mutsamudu Island, about 300m inland from the Eastern coast. According to older reconaissance photographs, it sits in a somewhat cleared area about 150m in radius and contains a major bunker, one key operations building, and at least 6 barracks buildings.
Enemy presence has been estimated by the number of people that the base can likely support. The island once supported only a transient population of fishermen; now, no locals dare travel there. Thus we have no intelligence on the enemy's weapons or capabilities except for what we encountered in our previous mission. During that encounter, we noted that the enemy was operating heavy machine guns.
Due to the previous mission, the enemy are likely to be aware of our presence and the capabilities of our PT boats. They will have prepared positions in anticipation of an assault by sea.
Our generous employers have lent us a Yabhon R3 reconaissance drone for our use in this contract. While there are limited supplies available - only enough fuel for one flight - it should give you the edge in choosing a landing site and surveying the approach. Recommended approach altitutde is at least 600 m to avoid enemy detection and accurate heavy machine gun fire.
No friendly forces are on site for this mission. PPF militiamen are armed with older Cold War-era arms and lack portable anti-tank weapons, but they are known to have heavy machine guns emplaced in static locations. They do not wear armor, and their night fighting equipment are limited to flashlights.
